Orchard Lending Solutions, LLC is looking for a Loan Officer to assist clients in mortgage loans and mortgage planning. The right person for this position is a highly motivated sales professional with a genuine interest in developing a lasting relationship with their clients and developing repeat business due to that. This individual does not feel challenged or satisfied with the standard workings of the mortgage industry and is looking for a company that can offer more, both to the clients they work with as well as themselves. What is Mortgage Planning?
Unlike a typical loan officer, who sells a loan as a commodity based on rate and terms, a mortgage planner helps a client design a comprehensive strategy to integrate their current and future home buying and property investing goals with their other financial goals. The loan officers / mortgage planners at Orchard Lending Solutions, LLC are called Advisors.

Requirements
The primary responsibilities of a Loan Officer at Orchard Lending Solutions, LLC are to:
- Gain mortgage planning clients through professional and word of mouth referrals
- Develop and maintain a network of client referral sources in complementary businesses
- Develop mortgage plans that are advantageous for the client and help them to meet their goals
- Meet with clients, present the options available to them and answer their questions
- Help clients to build a financial team that will help them achieve their goals
- Follow up with clients and referral sources consistently both during loan process and after the loan closing
- Constantly increase knowledge in the mortgage loan, mortgage planning and financial fields
A Loan Officer for Orchard Lending Solutions, LLC should:
- Have good sales skills and communicate well with people
- Have a sincere interest in the betterment of his or her clients
- Be comfortable “cold calling” on referral sources and professionals (whether by mail or face to face)
- Be interested in furthering his or her education to become an expert in the mortgage field
- Have good time management skills, as much time is spent out of the office on appointments
- Be committed to earning a minimum of $60,000 per year
- Have a solid background in sales experience. A working knowledge of the mortgage industry is preferred, but not necessarily required.
